I use a platform called Legiit to sell a few SEO services. They're not as well known as Fiverr, but in essence are the same - a digital services platform. I've been using them for the last 5 years, initially just to buy, but now I use it mainly to sell my services and it's working really well for me as a side hustle.
I have utilised the gig economy to earn extra income through platforms like UberRover, Care.com, Uber, DoorDash and Fiverr. With these, I have realised the importance of staying updated and keeping everyone connected to achieve common goals and earn simultaneously. For instance, Uber allowed me to serve as a rideshare driver on a flexible schedule. Rover helped me turn my love for pets into a profitable side job. Now, I can pet sit or take my favourite animal on a stroll and get paid in return. Care.com enables me to offer caregiving services in my community, where I have the choice to handle household opportunities. DoorDash provided an opportunity to earn by delivering food from nearby restaurants to customers. The Fiverr portal helps me connect with clients looking for digital marketers, content writers, designers and more. Offering my services through these platforms has given me the flexibility to work aside from my primary job, contributing to my financial growth and stability.
