As an arborist, I have had several occasions where I needed to educate clients on the importance of protecting trees and the surrounding environment. One instance that stands out is when a customer wanted to remove a healthy, mature tree simply because it blocked their view. I explained how trees contribute to the ecosystem by providing shade, improving air quality, and supporting wildlife, and recommended pruning instead of removal.
