Once, I had a client who was struggling to grasp the concept of our data analytics tool. Instead of the usual slide decks or tutorials, I decided to take a different approach: I created a mock scenario where the client was the CEO of a fictional company facing a critical business decision. I then walked them through using the tool in real-time, as if it were their own company's data on the line. This immersive experience turned the abstract into something personal and urgent. By making them the protagonist in a story they cared about, their understanding and engagement skyrocketed. They not only learned how to use the tool but also saw firsthand how it could impact their real-world decisions. This method transformed what could have been a dry learning session into an empowering, memorable experience.
