Additionally, I focus on small, achievable changes rather than drastic overhauls, making the concept of healthier eating less intimidating and more attainable. This gradual approach helps clients feel more confident and less overwhelmed. I also emphasize the immediate benefits they might experience, such as increased energy and improved mood, to make the changes more appealing.
I commonly use their symptoms and educate how nutrition is impacting the symptoms they want to change. As well, asking them what they are willing to commit to and meeting them where they are at to make one step forward and then another.
