The vacation shoot was on location on a windy October beach. My favorite photo is a picture of my firstborn daughter, perhaps a week or so old, swaddled and laid down amongst some purple flowers in our front yard. She was born in May, and the flowers were just starting to bloom. The shot is deeply personal, because I will see those flowers pop up every year, and it reminds me of a time when my little girl was so small and precious, relying on me for everything in her life.
