I live in Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S.A. When it comes to the Hispanic community, I would like people to know more about the history between U.S.A. & Mexico. For example: In 1846-1848 U.S.A. invaded Mexico, and obligated this country to sell us most of its land. Unfortunately most U.S.A. citizens do not know this, and the fact that California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, and parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, and Wyoming was Mexico. We need to give Mexicans more grace, and not treat them like second class citizens. We invade them, take their land by force, and look at them as second class citizens? We ask why so many Spanish speakers? We ask why they are immigrating at such numbers? Good questions to ponder on.
