Optimizing Ontario's Licensing System for Novices and Experienced Drivers Alike Enhancing Ontario's graduated licensing system could involve a multifaceted approach aimed at better supporting novice drivers while facilitating a smooth transition for experienced drivers. From my own experience, I've found that incorporating advanced driver training courses, such as defensive driving techniques and hazard perception, into the licensing process can significantly improve novice drivers' skills and confidence on the road. Additionally, implementing a mentorship program where experienced drivers provide guidance and support to new drivers could help bridge the gap between theory and real-world application. Moreover, introducing standardized assessments for drivers moving to Ontario from other regions or countries can ensure they are familiar with local road laws and driving conditions, promoting safety and harmonization on Ontario's roadways.
