When it comes to picking a women's putter, I highly recommend trying out different putters before making a final decision. Everyone has a unique putting style, and what may work for one person may not work for another. Visiting a golf store or pro shop and testing out different putters can help you find the one that feels comfortable and natural to you. Don't be afraid to take your time and try out multiple options. You can also consider getting fitted for a putter, which can provide more insight into the best fit for your game. With the right putter in hand, you'll be able to sink those putts with confidence and improve your overall golf game.
I teach women golfer several times a week now that the weather’s warm and the major issue I’ve noticed are ill-fitting putters (i.e. putter is too long). So to figure out the proper length putter, I have them get into their natural putting posture. Once there, take note the best fitting putter will have the middle of the grip rest comfortably right where their hands hang naturally. If the putter is too long their hands come to rest too low on the putter (almost on the shaft) and if it’s too short their hands are too high on the putter (will hang off the end of the putter). The proper length putter will allow you to stroke the ball toward the hole the easiest. The proper length putter will greatly improve chances of the club making solid contact with the ball without hitting the ground before the ball. Well struck putts equal more made putts which makes golf a lot more fun.
