Lastly, I like tagging bottom-of-the-funnel keywords so I can quickly filter how my clients perform for their most valuable keywords that drive conversions.
Our agency uses Semrush heavily. We leverage Semrush's position tracking tool and ranking report. We show the high level traffic and keywords charts with the lines for different positions. We use the ranking position distribution bar chart. We also include SERO features as these are ever more important. Lasly, there is the traditional list with keyword, URL, position with the decline/improvement metrics as well as the estimated monthly traffic based on the keyword search volume. This is augmented with the search intent of the keyword. This comes out as a monthly report, that is emailed to the client. We have several other methods of reporting this data and the result of it. There is more of a trend towards topical relevance than exact keyword ranking. Ultimately we are driving to client KPIs.
