Sprig feedback helped us to re-prioritize features of our subscription platform. We were ready to release a complicated customization engine which enabled customers to customize roast profiles and delivery frequency. In-product surveys using Sprig found that simplicity was more desired than detailed control, and that it was not unusual to find that too many options led to a feeling of being overwhelmed. With that understanding, we halted the development of the advanced tool and instead simplified the onboarding process to make clear three preselected paths of subscriptions. Not only did the change save development time but it also saw an increased completion rate during checkout. The direct access to data provided by the users enabled us to move the discussion with stakeholders to evidence-based rather than assumption-based, which made the decision less contentious to reach across teams.
