It has an older interface but they do have excellent customer support. The intuitive features allows you to simply click the type of content element you’d like to be generated and the tone related to that article. For Example I can easily get bullet point answers to some of the main FAQ’s I’ve outlined as part of my FAQ brief.
One of my preferred tools in the recent few months has been ScaleNut. While it is similar to Neuron Writer, it goes one step further (maybe more) and helps me to create highly optimized content by looking the Top 10/20/30 SERPs data, NLP variations of the keywords and then using AI to generate those content. The quality of content is also pretty good with numerous options to edit/modify/optimize the final content. Not only that, you can get the tool to do the research and then copy/paste your own content to optimize it based on the research data. So, my content writer does the writing and I use Scale Nut to optimize it further.

SE Ranking is an SEO tool I’ve tested as an alternative to Surfer SEO. It offers a comprehensive solution if you are in the market for a new tool. SE Ranking is a versatile tool with great features in content optimization, website auditing, backlink monitoring, and SERP analysis, and it comes with a great tool for building custom reports. What I found especially useful when testing this tool is that it offers a wider range of tools when compared to Surfer SEO, and its database feature offers loads of keyword information. The pricing options for SE Ranking are also on the lower side when compared to Surfer SEO. SE Ranking pricing plans range from $44 - $191.20 depending on what type of plan you take, and Surfer SEO is a bit more on the expensive side ranging from $59 - $399 depending on the plan. However, to me, the learning curve was a bit more challenging. Their interface takes a while to get used to, and navigating and understanding all the features can be a bit challenging. At the end of the day SE Ranking certainly has its strong points with some great features, and can be seen as a very good alternative to Surfer SEO. It should be perfect for you if you are looking for a diverse tool that goes beyond content optimization. Remember the perfect alternative for you will come down to your specific goals and needs.

It rather becomes an “assistant” - a tool that really helps you make the best out of every piece that you write. It quickly allows us to identify high, medium or low SEO priorities and identifies the pages that need additional work. I love the feature that allows me to sort H1s, Page Titles & Alt Images based on whether they are missing or duplicates. It gives me an easy way to have my team focus on optimizing the site. The name "Screaming Frog"? Not my favorite. But the tool is great.
