I think sustainability is absolutely something that students should pay special attention to. It's not going to be a short-lived trend, and it's also something that becomes a notable factor in all kinds of different aspects of interior design. For example, it doesn't just mean implementing smart appliances and technology to reduce energy usage. It also means choosing the right materials.
