One design element we have introduced that has become a signature of our style is the strategic use of multi tiered tree canopies. By layering trees of varying heights, we create a dynamic and visually appealing landscape that provides shade, enhances privacy, and promotes biodiversity. This approach not only adds depth and texture to the environment but also ensures that the space remains vibrant and sustainable throughout the seasons. Our clients have come to recognize and appreciate this blend of functionality and aesthetics in our projects.
One design element I introduced is using natural stone pathways. These pathways make any garden feel warm and welcoming. I started using them because they fit well with plants and trees and help guide people through the space. Clients loved them so much that they’ve become a signature part of our designs. Now, in most of our new landscape projects, you’ll find these beautiful stone paths, adding both beauty and function to the outdoor area.
My "signature style" is combining 4 seasons of interest with texture and color while listening to the client and incorporating their wants and needs. I love repeating plants throughout a landscape, but in new and intriguing ways. Cohesiveness and creating interest are both key to a well-planned landscape. Finally, boulders and other hardscaping elements are wonderful additions to bring everything together.
