Why I'm Ready to Share My Legacy as a Business Owner While expanding a team of chefs and operations staff, CookinGenie has grown into a full private chef business - something I've been building for years. My legacy is rooted in restoring the tradition of families sharing meals at home, creating stable jobs for talented chefs, and giving families back their time. As I think about how I want my work to be remembered, it's the impact on people - especially my team - that matters most. I want to be remembered for creating a platform that values chefs and brings people together through food. I want my legacy to be a workplace where people feel respected, supported, and given room to grow. If the people who worked with me can say their lives became better because they were part of CookinGenie, then that would be the legacy I hope to leave. I would love to share the lessons and the journey that helped us grow - the same journey that shaped the vision for the brand and for the people who made it what it is today.
Hello, Argosy Wealth Management is my financial planning practice that I launched 3 years ago. While I've been an advisor for over 14 years, the last 3 have been running my own firm which has been awesome. During this journey, I've helped numerous people retire with confidence. Seeing and hearing my clients talk about the sense of comfort and confidence I gave to them as we made sure they had the money they needed to live in retirement on their terms. When they tell me how I've helped them, it really hits home and makes me feel like I'm on top of the world. Many advisors name their firms after themselves, but I named mine Argosy, which is a vessel that carries precious cargo, because I want it to live on long after I'm gone. For my kids possible to take over, or a great partner. At Argosy, we've found a way to help our clients succeed in their finances and feel empowered, special and confident in doing it. That should live on. I also host my own podcast called Man in Search of Gold. Since I work with a lot of Healthcare professionals (Physicians, PA's, RN's, etc) who express the same issues that they have with money. Their lack of comfort with it, the lack of education thru their schooling, lack of time, etc. My thoughts are that by having these folks on to share their journey to and in medicine and also their relationship with money, it will help others to know they aren't alone and to get the help they need. A rising tide lifts all boats kind of philosophy. Thanks. Eric
At OysterLink we are constantly working with hospitality businesses to help them hire the best talent, create stronger teams, and provide opportunities for future generations to enter this industry. My legacy will be creating a software platform that empowers an industry that often gets neglected, and to establish a place for restaurant owners and hospitality leaders to create a working environment that values employees and allows for the development of a long-term career. OysterLink was founded to solve one problem to connect quality talent to employers faster. Our mission has evolved to include modernizing the way we recruit for the hospitality industry, telling the success stories of companies in this industry, and establishing a clear career path for people looking to enter into a stable hospitality career. It is about making a better job, a better working environment, and providing a better future for those who contribute to the success of the hospitality industry.
I'd be honored to share my journey building Fulfill.com and the legacy I'm working to create in the logistics industry. When I founded Fulfill.com over 15 years ago, I wasn't just thinking about building a successful 3PL marketplace. I was thinking about fundamentally changing how e-commerce brands access fulfillment services and how we could democratize logistics for businesses of all sizes. The legacy I want to leave is simple: I want to be remembered as someone who made world-class logistics accessible to every entrepreneur with a great product idea, not just the Fortune 500 companies with massive budgets. In logistics, there's traditionally been an enormous barrier to entry. Small and mid-sized brands would struggle to find reliable fulfillment partners, negotiate fair pricing, or even understand what questions to ask. Through Fulfill.com, we've connected thousands of e-commerce brands with the right 3PL warehouses for their specific needs. That's the impact I'm most proud of, watching businesses scale from shipping 100 orders a month to 10,000 because they finally had the right fulfillment infrastructure. The legacy I'm building extends beyond just our platform. I want to be known for treating logistics professionals with the respect they deserve. These are the people who make e-commerce possible, working nights and weekends to ensure packages arrive on time. At Fulfill.com, we've built a culture that values our team's expertise and invests in their growth. Several of our early employees have gone on to leadership roles in major logistics companies, and that makes me incredibly proud. For my family and future generations, I want them to see that I built something that solved real problems for real people. Every brand we help fulfill their first 1,000 orders represents someone's dream becoming reality. Every warehouse partner we bring onto our platform is a small business owner we're helping grow. Looking forward, my legacy goal is for Fulfill.com to be the standard for how logistics marketplaces operate, known for transparency, technology innovation, and putting customers first. I want the next generation of logistics entrepreneurs to look at what we built and say, "That's the model to follow." I'm excited to discuss how building a business in the often-overlooked logistics industry has shaped my perspective on legacy, impact, and what truly matters in business.
I want to be remembered for building companies where people felt proud of the work they did and trusted that the culture would support them. Growing Event Staff taught me that your real legacy is not the revenue or the brand name, it is the opportunities you create for the people who choose to work with you and the consistency you bring to clients who rely on you. If the companies outlast me because the systems are strong and the people inside them feel ownership of the mission, that is the kind of legacy that matters to me.
What I hope people remember about me and Kitsap Home Pro is that we didn't just do business--we showed up when people needed help most. I'm proudest when a client or team member comes back years later and says, 'You made things easier when I didn't see a way forward.' That's the legacy I'm building: one of trust, practical problem-solving, and showing my own kids that serving others is a success in itself.
For me, legacy means being the person families trust when they feel stuck--whether that's helping someone avoid foreclosure or easing the burden of an inherited home. I want to be remembered for building a business where empathy and doing the right thing always come first; like the time I stayed after hours to make sure a seller understood every step and left the table with genuine peace of mind. If my work helps others find freedom and my kids see that serving your neighbors with honesty matters most, that's the legacy I hope to leave.
My legacy is really about solving problems that others walk away from--I've built American Funding Group to be the place note holders turn when they need cash fast and can't wait years for payments to trickle in. After 30 years and thousands of transactions, I want to be remembered as the guy who said 'yes' when everyone else said 'no,' whether that was a complicated second lien or a note on a manufactured home in the middle of nowhere. The real measure of success isn't just the deals we've closed, but the peace of mind we've given families who needed a financial fresh start.
For me, legacy means restoring pride and stability to neighborhoods that shaped me. I want to be remembered as the guy who saw potential where others only saw boarded-up homes--and turned those places back into thriving family spaces. If my work helps inspire local kids to believe they can rebuild their own communities too, then that's the kind of lasting impact I'm proud to leave behind.
My legacy is all about transformation--not just of properties, but of communities and lives. After 15 years in restaurants and years flipping 50+ properties annually, I've learned that true impact comes from seeing potential where others don't. I want to be remembered for breathing new life into forgotten spaces, especially our Augusta Airbnbs where every renovation tells a story and creates memorable experiences for guests. My greatest legacy will be showing that real estate isn't just about transactions but about creating value that ripples through neighborhoods and inspires others to see possibilities in places they'd overlooked.
I want my legacy to be defined by the relationships I've built--both with the people who trusted us to help during life's big transitions and the employees who found real growth with us. I grew up seeing how my parents created a sense of home for tenants and family alike, and that's what I've carried into Revival Homebuyers: turning daunting situations into fresh starts. If future owners or my own kids walk past a house we restored and feel proud of what we brought back to the neighborhood, that's the legacy I'd be humbled to leave.
Purple Media has been under my leadership since its establishment three years ago, and we've achieved notable success by leveraging video content, paid advertising, and AI-based content generation to drive customer demand. What drives me now is the goal of building a lasting, impactful business--one that trains creative professionals, hires skilled marketers, and consistently delivers meaningful results for our clients. I've given a lot of thought to the long-term impact of my work and the legacy I want to leave in this industry. I'm enthusiastic about sharing my journey and professional development experience with your audience on the show. Please let me know where I can access the form to complete it and move forward.
The opportunity seems perfect for me. I'd love to present Oakwell's development story and highlight how the foundation of our company continues to guide all of our current work. The journey of Oakwell began when we discovered a small beer spa in Eastern Europe. From there, we brought the concept to Denver through a mix of bravery, strategic adjustments, and extensive planning. Our initial goal was always to build something that would last long after we're gone. Our team development efforts, guest loyalty program, and the sense of community pride connected to our establishment form the core of our overall business strategy. Please let me know which address to use to send the request. I'm happy to fill out the form and conduct any additional research needed.
I appreciate the chance to join this platform, which looks like a well-thought-out opportunity. Happy V exists to improve women's wellness through transparent practices, evidence-driven product development, and results from real-world testing. My background in manufacturing and supply chain management has shaped the way I approach health products--from an engineering standpoint that involves identifying ingredients, understanding mechanisms of action, and proving effectiveness. Our mission is to transform the industry by delivering precise health information and reliable products that women can trust--beyond the usual marketing slogans. What started as a self-funded startup has grown into a fully vertically integrated business. We now operate our own manufacturing facility, which allows us to maintain control over product quality and build long-term customer trust. Looking toward the future, my goal is to establish a wellness framework that proves ethical practices can lead to real, effective results.
I'd love to be a guest on Legacy and share the story behind the Alliance for Integrated Awareness (AIA) and Acceptance and Integration Training. For more than four decades, I've devoted my professional life to helping people heal in ways that are both rapid and deeply restorative. AIA grew out of that commitment. We train therapists, coaches, and healing arts professionals to deliver a level of rapid and durable relief and transformation that most people don't realize is possible. Our organization has become a home for practitioners who want to make mental health care more accessible, especially for the communities who are so often left out of high-quality, effective care. We're not just building a training institute. We're building a movement that's changing how people heal, how therapists work, and how whole communities can experience a greater sense of wholeness and possibility. My legacy isn't about me. It's about creating a lasting shift in how mental and spiritual wellbeing are understood and supported. It's about preparing the next generation of practitioners to work in ways that reduce burnout, honor cultural differences, and help people feel genuinely free inside themselves. AIA now has a growing team, a national network of practitioners, and a vision that reaches far beyond my lifetime. I'd welcome the chance to share how this work began, how it's evolving, and what it means to build something that can outlive its founder and continue serving people for decades to come.
Hi Business Legacy Team, My name is Bogdan Bratis, and I'm the founder of Saspod, a podcast production company with a mission to help brands gain visibility and authority through podcasting. I think I would be a great candidate to be a guest on your show. I'm an accidental businessman, transitioned into business from the music industry, and I have a lot of value to share with your audience, specifically about podcasting and how storytelling can help build a legacy. We are on a mission to make Saspod one of the best podcast production companies worldwide and eradicate podfade, a phenomenon that kills 75% of podcasts. Many start podcasts, but they don't have a clear vision and strategy, and even worse, most don't understand the potential podcasting has. Looking forward to connecting and hopefully recording an awesome episode together. I'm Nicki Warren, founder of Toothbrush Toys, a children's oral care brand transforming brushing through character toothbrushes, storytelling, and two minute timers. I started the business at 22 years old with my dad, who was my best friend, biggest inspiration, and role model. After his passing, continuing to grow Toothbrush Toys became my way of honoring the legacy we dreamed of building together. My mission is to continue helping kids form healthy habits and give back to underserved communities through our work with America's ToothFairy and other like minded nonprofits. I'd love to share the story behind my brand, how we've grown, the exciting things to come, and the legacy I'm building through both our products and our mission. Thank you in advance for your consideration!
I would be interested in sharing my journey on the Legacy podcast. As co-leader of Leaders Real Estate, I have built an established company specializing in healthcare-backed real estate, managing a diverse portfolio that includes short-term rentals and wedding venues. My experience transitioning from professional athletics to real estate investment, raising capital for syndications, and developing commercial properties has given me valuable insights about building a lasting impact in the industry. I believe my story could resonate with your audience and provide fresh perspectives on creating a meaningful business legacy.
I appreciate your outreach and am available to discuss this further. I've spent over a decade building healthcare businesses, and at DRM we actively implement legacy-driven principles across our operations--from workforce development to clinical standards and improving patient access. Our organization is dedicated to helping medical clinic founders build lasting teams and sustainable operational models for their facilities. Thanks for the invite. I'd be happy to explore this. I work at Octopus, where we help entrepreneurs with company formation planning and ongoing compliance across many countries. Octopus is headquartered in Gibraltar and supports clients based in, or expanding into, the UK, Cyprus, the UAE, and Central America. As Head of Business Development, my focus is on how business owners think long-term. I look at growth, reputation, stability, and care. I regularly have in-depth conversations with both business owners and their advisors around these key areas. If selected, I'd be glad to contribute in a meaningful way. I'm especially interested in how resilience shows up in a company's operating structure--not just in terms of scale, but also how it connects to culture, ethics, and succession. Let me know the next steps, and I'll be happy to complete the submission form.
