Makeup professionals, can you describe a time when you had to improvise with limited tools and how the final look turned out?

I was working for a morning TV show and forgot my brushes! The anchor had 1 powder brush, and I had qtips....and clean hands..we made it work and of course, she looked great! It actually ended up being a really nice look! The moral of the story....blend, blend blend and blend some more. Use your fingers to soften lines, blend in blush and even apply a pouty lip!
