We have seen great feedback from engaging with mommy influencers to showcase a pool product. This taps into one of our target audiences, so using influencers who actually match your customers in a key step to whether your campaign will be successful. We staggered our influencers in the summer months to have a consistent stream of content, both across social platforms and blogs. One such mom post performed fantastic on reels, with 10k coming from her direct followers, and an additional 13,000 views from our reshare. Sales increased during this time and we gained exposure with our regionally focused campaign on families in Arizona. It was easy to direct message each of the moms we were interested in, and it only took a little bit of time to scroll through some posts to see if a pool ever appeared. During my freshman year in college, I heard a lot of buzz about the Amazon Associates affiliate marketing program. According to lots of success stories I heard, people were earning substantial commissions by recommending products via their blogs and websites. One example that was often cited was the partnership between YouTube vlogger Zoella and Amazon, which resulted in an extremely successful campaign that benefitted both parties. During this campaign, Zoella's fans could purchase recommended items from her Amazon Wishlist as well as search for additional products on Amazon channels featured on her blog and YouTube account. The collaboration was effective in driving sales for Amazon and increased engagement with Zoella's audience, creating a win-win situation for both brands.
BMW unveiled a brand-new 1 Series car in 2019. They also started an influencer marketing campaign with it on TikTok, one of the newest and fastest-growing social media sites available. The hashtag #The1Challenge was used on the platform in videos that showcased particular dancing techniques to promote the new 1 Series. More than 8 million people, primarily from their "young, digitally savvy target group," watched the hashtag.
Affiliate marketers are highly effective in improving sales as they can spread a wide net and reach many people. Influencer marketing campaign works well because of the trust the influencer has with their followers. It's like a friend telling you about a project or service. We've seen substantial sales growth from using both of these types of marketing methods.
