The fact that probably 99% of all offices and schools worldwide use Microsoft Office to do work, exchange ideas, send proposals, do documents, track financial work and milestones, and communicate, is a testament to the Company's influence. While some may say that its global dominance is bad for society, if we did not have Microsoft, all our documents will probably have different standards and we would be requiring software converters to shift some company documents to others. The standardization of outputs shared with others that Office offers is probably Microsoft's greatest legacy.
