An interesting dynamic I've noted in group therapy sessions, as a CEO, is the 'unwritten role assignment' phenomenon. Just like how different members in my tech company assume varying roles like marketing, financials or IT, participants in therapy also unconsciously take on certain roles like the mediator or the listener. These roles invariably influence the group dynamics significantly. It's fascinating to observe and as therapists, we often have to ensure these roles don't hinder the therapeutic process but rather enhance it.
