There are various scientifically-proven ingredients that are anti-aging and can improve wrinkles and other signs of aging on the face. Among my favorite ingredients are Defensins, a natural peptide released by neutrophils (immune cells) that stimulate a master stem cell in the skin to make new basal cells in the epidermis (top layer of skin), which produce new, “fresh” skin cells. Therefore, with a new top layer of skin, people see improvements in fine lines, wrinkles, texture, sagging, pigment, and pore size.
