We believe that meeting patients where they are is the most important feature of a multi-generational full scope community-based practice. Patients will have changing vision needs and life circumstances and our goal is to make everyone feel welcome. We provide pediatric care through senior care and co-management of diseases. We also strive to be very competitive with managed plans and provide excellent care for people if they start a small business, are between jobs or just prefer to pay direct.
One feature I always look for in an optometrist's office is their use of advanced diagnostic technology, like retinal imaging or digital eye exams. This is important to me because it gives a clearer, more comprehensive view of the health of my eyes beyond just checking for prescription changes. I've had a few experiences where these advanced tools helped catch early signs of potential eye conditions that might have been missed with traditional methods. For example, one time, the retinal scan revealed signs of early macular degeneration, which allowed me to start treatment early and prevent further damage. It's reassuring to know that the office is staying up to date with the latest technology, as it gives me confidence in their ability to provide thorough care and address any potential issues before they become serious.
