The exploration of our inner workings, suppressed emotions connected to those good and bad experiences is "shadow work". It can create a space for self love, inner healing; and help individuals recognize while identifying aspects of oneself that has never been acknowledged. This work can bring to light situations inside of us that have remained a mystery or can help us with unexplored areas that may now need attention. Individuals whom have participated in this work allow themselves to be seen multidimensional which can stimulate a growth mindset transformation. An example of this is journaling, creating a quiet and safe space to recognize triggers, analyzing your dreams with a trained professional, engaging in a variety of writing prompts, or grounding self with mindfulness activities.
