When I made the leap from corporate leadership to launching my own coaching practice, I met a mentor who taught me that success wasn't about "hustling harder" — it was about alignment. She helped me see that building a career (and life) that felt true to me was the real goal, not chasing someone else's definition of success. My advice: don't just look for a mentor who's "ahead" of you. Look for someone who models the kind of fulfillment and integrity you want for yourself.
