One internal campaign that worked really well for us focused on promoting loan officer opportunities to our existing team members! We knew that people already familiar with our company culture and process would have a strong foundation for success in the role, so we created an internal referral program with incentives for employees who recommended qualified candidates. To make the campaign effective, we used a mix of email, team meetings, and personalized outreach to highlight the benefits of moving into a loan officer position. We also shared success stories from employees who had transitioned into the role, which helped generate excitement. By making it easy for people to explore the opportunity and rewarding referrals, we were able to bring in high-quality candidates who were already a great fit for us!
One more general awareness campaign that I have run before has been an internal newsletter - "Hot Jobs" - highlighting all internal positions that was shared on our company's intranet. The newsletter was sent to employees, showcasing job openings, making it easy to access and apply for positions. We also had an internal LinkedIn group where recruiters could post internal positions if employees were not actively viewing the company intranet. Throughout these communications, we would emphasize the benefits of career growth within the company. We were able to track results through both engagement metrics, views, and click-through-rates to measure the effectiveness of each monthly newsletter. Ultimately, this approach proved to be worthwhile as it prioritized internal mobility and it created visibility through multiple touchpoints.
