One tech-related prediction I made was that mobile payments would become a dominant method of transaction. A few years ago, I saw the rise of apps like Apple Pay and Google Wallet gaining traction, and I predicted that people would move away from traditional credit cards in favor of using their phones to pay. It turned out to be true as mobile payments have grown massively, especially with contactless technology becoming more common. My insight came from noticing the convenience factor and how younger consumers were already shifting towards mobile-first solutions, which made me confident in the direction the market was headed.
