Small change, big impact: In our community gardens, switching to in-ground, virtually zero-water irrigation has been a game-changer. This system delivers moisture right where plants need it, cutting water waste, reducing labor, and boosting yields-all while making gardening easier for everyone. While our system is exclusive to our organization (for now!), there are ways you can try something similar. Start small! Bury unglazed clay pots (olla irrigation) near plants for slow, deep watering, or set up a simple drip irrigation system from your local garden center. Less watering, more growing-it's a win-win!
