While volunteering for a community outreach program, I worked with people from diverse backgrounds, which initially challenged some of my preconceived notions about different socioeconomic groups. The experience forced me to confront my biases and broaden my understanding of people's circumstances. It contributed to my personal growth by teaching me empathy, active listening, and the importance of looking beyond surface-level differences to better understand and serve others.
