As an international student alumni with a degree in Marketing from W. P. Carey (graduated 2020), I found mentorship programs to be the most beneficial career resource. Through these programs, I was able to connect with industry professionals who provided personalized guidance, advice, and networking opportunities. My mentor was instrumental in helping me navigate the job market and build valuable skills and connections. Additionally, being part of a mentorship program provided a sense of community and support, which was important as an international student who sometimes felt isolated. Overall, I highly recommend mentorship programs to other international student alumni looking for guidance and support in their careers.
