I measure the progress of my wellness coaching clients through a combination of objective metrics, self-reported outcomes, and behavioral changes. For instance, I track improvements in physical health through measurable indicators like pain reduction, increased range of motion and strength or flexibility gains during physiotherapy and Pilates sessions. We also monitor lifestyle factors such as adherence to recommended exercises, improved ergonomic habits, and nutritional changes which play a crucial role in overall well-being. Beyond the physical, I assess progress through qualitative feedback, such as clients reporting better energy levels, reduced stress, and enhanced confidence in their daily activities. Regular goal setting and check ins ensure that we are aligned with the client's evolving priorities and help us celebrate milestones along the way. One standout example involved a corporate professional who came to The Alignment Studio with chronic back pain and fatigue due to long hours at a poorly set up home office. Drawing on my 30 years of experience in postural health and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, I implemented a tailored plan that included physiotherapy, Pilates for core stability, ergonomic adjustments, and nutritional guidance from our in house specialist. Over six months, we tracked her progress using pain scales, posture assessments and her ability to return to her favorite activities, like cycling. Not only did her back pain resolve, but she also reported feeling more energized and productive at work. This comprehensive approach, grounded in my experience and supported by a multidisciplinary team, showcased how addressing root causes holistically leads to long term success.
