We use Textografo to build flowcharts for our brainstorming sessions, As a text-based tool, it requires you to learn a few basic text commands to build out your charts, but you can master it in a matter of minutes. Our technical teams love to use it since it requires some basic coding of sorts. A drag-and-drop option might be best if you’re creating a simple chart. But for our complex charting needs, Textografo is our fastest tool.
If you are looking for a versatile pack with all the features, then Edraw Max is the perfect choice. It supports over 280 types of diagrams, and can be used on windows, max, as well as, linux. It was basically built for the purpose of constructing professional flowcharts and diagrams. They also have tailored tools for mind mapping, infographics, and so on. Although initially it might seem a bit tough to get a grasp on it, it is a great application for long term use. With different pricing options, it's also an efficient option. The only drawbacks I would say is it might put off new users if not ready to face the challenge, and no groupware connections are present.
