Do at least one thing every day to further your reach. Network and engage in your creative community. Follow a lead. Follow others; with an eye on learning and absorbing. Never say “Today I’ll wait for it to come to me.” Practice perseverance—the challenging paradox is that we have much more energy and enthusiasm in our youth to pursue opportunities; we also have less patience than we will exercise later in life. Find the balance.
