My favourite content creation tool is Hootsuite’s OwlyWriter AI. It’s a built-in creative AI tool that saves me hours of work when writing social media posts. I love this tool because with a simple prompt, it gives me a variety of ideas when my creative juices are running low. With it, I can choose the tone for my captions and write a post based on a blog post or a product page link. I can also generate great post ideas based on a keyword or topic and then write posts expounding on the idea I like best. I also use OwlyWriter to identify and repurpose top-performing posts, which means no guessing if that post will perform well!
I write content for different educational niches, one in animation and another for children's niche, so the style and language is very different. One of my favourite creation tool is Claude, the AI assistant from Anthropic. It helps me in several ways. I appreciate how Claude can engage in natural language conversations, allowing me to brainstorm ideas or get writing feedback. But I love Claude's ability to rewrite my drafts in various tones of voice and improve my writing in general. So I can jump between my different blogs and feel I have an assistant that understands me, although you do need to keep it in check with concise prompts and reminders.
Lately, my favorite writing tool has been ChatGPT. I don't use it to write finished content but for ideation and first drafts. I find it invaluable for brainstorming topics, generating outlines and finessing similar topics together. You can have ChatGPT rewrite your intro paragraph a dozen different ways and then cherry pick to find the right word combinations to match your audience. There's a lot of potential here!!
Scrivener is my favorite content creation tool as a content writer because of its advanced features catered specifically for long-form writing. With its versatile outlining, research organization, and distraction-free writing mode, Scrivener allows me to stay focused and organized while working on extensive projects. For example, when I was writing a research paper on the impacts of social media on society, Scrivener's corkboard feature helped me visually arrange my key arguments and supporting evidence, enabling me to easily structure my paper. Additionally, Scrivener's ability to split the screen for simultaneous reference to my research material and writing area enhances my productivity. Overall, Scrivener's unique functionalities make it an invaluable tool for content writers tackling complex and lengthy writing projects.
ChatGPT Plus is my favorite content creation tool. It's a versatile powerhouse that helps me brainstorm, outline, review, and even speed up my translations. It's like having a virtual writing partner, grammar guru, and editor rolled into one. This tool streamlines my writing process and enhances my creativity, making it a game-changer for a content writer like me. ChatGPT Plus is the best invention for content creators, helping me craft compelling stories and engaging articles that resonate with my audience. It's a must-have in my toolkit!
Since the beginning of my writing career in 2020, I've tried various tools for content creators, including Medium, Grammarly, Hemingway Editor, Semrush writing assistant, ChatGPT, and more. I guess I won't be innovative here. There is one tool that I've been using daily for several years; it's Grammarly. I started using it before AI chatbots took over editorial tasks. Nevertheless, I still use Grammarly to fix grammar mistakes, polish my writing, check plagiarism, share the word count with my clients, and store my content. I test new content creation tools occasionally, but Grammarly is still among my go-to tools.
As a content writer, I have used Grammarly for many years, and it’s my all-time favourite tool for content creation. It has been an amazing writing assistant. Currently, ChatGPT is one of the most powerful tools for content creation. Nothing can beat it at present. It is, ideally, the best starting point for any content writer to get new content ideas and create outlines for your articles.
Personally I love using generative AI for the entire content creation process. I have my own little process that works great. I’ll start with ChatGPT for the outline, then use Claude section by section to generate the content; then I’ll use SEMrush’s paragraph rewriter to give the copy a more human touch. It surprisingly generates some really high-quality content, so I recommend checking it out.
As a content writer, my favorite content creation tool is Evernote. It may not be the first tool that comes to mind, but its versatility is unmatched. With Evernote, I can capture ideas, conduct research, and organize my content in a centralized location. Whether I'm brainstorming new topics or collecting reference materials, Evernote allows me to have everything at my fingertips. For example, when working on a blog post about travel destinations, I can save web articles, images, and even voice recordings all in one place. This helps me stay organized and ensures I never miss a valuable piece of information. With its intuitive interface and seamless synchronization across devices, Evernote truly enhances my productivity as a content writer.

There are a lot of tools that help me and I love using them while I create content. But one that I would consider as my best friend, is definitely Grammarly. Why? Because it revolutionizes the way I create and edit content. Its sophisticated algorithms not only correct my grammar and spelling mistakes but also provide valuable suggestions to enhance my writing style and clarity. As a writer, I often find it challenging to catch every error or improve sentence structure on my own, but Grammarly acts as my vigilant proofreader, ensuring my work is polished and professional. Its intuitive interface and real-time feedback empower me to craft flawless pieces without the fear of embarrassing errors slipping through. Whether I'm working on a blog post, article, or creative writing project, Grammarly makes the writing process smoother, allowing me to focus on expressing my ideas effectively.
As a tech CEO, I value efficiency and innovation. That's why my favourite content creation tool is Canva. This platform enables me to create visually appealing content with relative ease. It's vast collection of templates, fonts, and images allows me to bring my ideas to life in a visually striking manner. Not to mention, I can collaborate with my team and gather their input real-time. Canva's simplicity, combined with it's range of design capabilities, allows for inspiring creativity while saving precious time. It’s an essential tool for a CEO in a dynamic tech industry!
As a content writer, my favorite content creation tool is BuzzSumo. While primarily known as a content research tool, it provides invaluable insights into trending topics and competitor analysis. By identifying popular articles, I can gain inspiration and create more relevant and engaging content. For example, if I'm writing a blog post about social media marketing, BuzzSumo can help me discover which topics are currently trending in that space. I can see which articles have gained the most shares and engagement, allowing me to create content that resonates with my audience. Additionally, BuzzSumo's competitor analysis feature enables me to understand what type of content performs well for my competitors and how I can differentiate my own content. With BuzzSumo, I can stay ahead of the curve, deliver high-quality content, and drive better results for my clients or organization.
