The best time to visit the Douro Valley is during the harvest season in September and October when the vineyards are ablaze with vibrant colors and bustling with activity. However, spring and early summer also offer pleasant weather and fewer crowds, making it an ideal time to explore the region's natural beauty and cultural treasures.
