One unconventional method we used for data backup was the time-capsule approach. Just like burying a time-capsule full of valuable items, we created digital time-capsules - folders of essential data that we archived at regular intervals and stored in different, secure virtual locations. The result was a series of data 'snapshots', capturing the state of our systems at different times. In case of a failure or breach, we could go back to the 'snapshot' just before the incident, minimizing the data loss.
