I believe there is nothing closer to real magic that astrophysics! The universal laws of physics rule absolutely everything that exist, and what is even more astonishing – they can be used to greatly predict the future. They are invisible (do you know anyone who has seen the gravity?), powerful (ask Black Holes), and almighty (they govern the entire Universe!). And we still discover new things about them every day.
For me, the human brain can be seen as the closest thing to real magic because of its remarkable complexity and capabilities. The brain is the most complex organ in the human body, with billions of neurons and trillions of connections between them. It allows us to think, feel, learn, remember, and communicate with others. One of the most fascinating aspects of the brain is its ability to change and adapt over time, a phenomenon known as neuroplasticity. This means that the brain can reorganize itself in response to new experiences, forming new neural connections and pathways. This enables us to learn new skills, recover from injuries, and adapt to changing circumstances. The brain is also responsible for our consciousness, the subjective experience of being alive and aware. Despite decades of research, the exact nature of consciousness remains a mystery, and many philosophers and scientists consider it to be one of the greatest mysteries of our time.

To me, nothing is more magical than how beautiful and amazing nature is, especially under a microscope. It is quite fascinating and genuinely magical how there's this seemingly sacred geometry in nature. Look at flowers and plants blossoming in a perfect Fibonacci sequence. It is quite extraordinary.
Scientific and technological advances that resemble magic to the general public can be considered the closest thing to true magic. For instance, technologies like robotics, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and virtual reality can appear to those who are not familiar with them to be works of magic. These innovations can provide illusions and sensations that go beyond what was previously thought to be possible, blurring the distinction between what is real and what is not. The capacity of the human mind is another illustration of what might be referred to as "true magic." Through mental training, such as mindfulness, visualization, and memory methods, people can learn to accomplish incredible feats. The capacity of the human mind to learn, develop, and and adapt, and when harnessed effectively, it can seem like magic to those who witness its capabilities.
