I have over 10 years of experience in the affiliate marketing space with both B2B affiliate programs and B2C affiliate programs. There has been a lot of changes but the one constant remains and that is affiliate marketing is built on partnerships and relationship building. I've worked on many high ticket affiliate marketing programs including the B2B program I run that pays $500-$1000 flat or 15% rev-share for life. That comes out to $1-$5k in commission per customer per month. When you pay that much for a new customer it is so important to be on a platform that supports these programs. This would include network fraud protection and a very active network quality team. High ticket affiliate marketing can be tricky and take longer to get off the ground but once it starts moving the high commissions make it irresistible to publishers.
I'm over a decade into this industry with two years into running a high-ticket affiliate marketing program in the mattress industry that is as competitive to VPN, meal delivery or the finance niche. It can be lucrative but a challenging endeavor because its labeled YMYL (Your Money or Your Life). Selling high-end mattresses that can cost thousands of dollars per unit, so it's not an impulse sale. To be successful, you will need to convince potential partners that your products are worth the investment and will provide a superior sleep experience compared to other options with super low returns. To do this, you need to show your products convert to meet the EPC (earning per click) industry demands. Which requires a combination of strategic marketing, product expertise, and a strong focus on conversion and sales. Overall, it helps when you have a great product and not just a great marketing campaign to earn each referral by providing a superior product based on its merit alone.
In my experience, high-ticket affiliate marketing can be lucrative if executed properly. One key challenge is building trust with potential customers. Since the products or services promoted are expensive, customers are likely to be more cautious and research before purchasing. Therefore, it's crucial to establish credibility as a marketer and ensure that the products being promoted are of high quality and provide real value to customers. Besides building relationships with potential customers, it requires a significant investment of time and resources to identify the right high-ticket products or services to promote and effectively market the products to drive sales. Overall, while high-ticket affiliate marketing can be a profitable strategy, it requires careful planning, execution, and ongoing optimization to ensure success.
I have been working in high-ticket affiliate marketing for a few years, and I can confidently say it's not easy. It requires significant resources and a budget to properly promote your product or service and establish yourself as an authority. Investing in content creation and digital marketing strategies such as SEO, PPC, and Paid Social Ads is important. It is a long-term commitment to make high-ticket affiliate marketing successful. Still, when done properly, it can be an extremely rewarding experience for the brand and its affiliates.

Affiliate marketing is used more by companies with low ticket (price) offerings than those with high ticket offerings. Low ticket offerings are a high volume, low consideration purchase. Therefore, affiliates get faster feedback on whether their marketing is yielding sales with low ticket offerings than with high ticket offerings. However, there still are high-ticket affiliate programs with successful affiliates. In my experience at PartnerStack, the success with high ticket affiliate marketing is through affiliates with a deeper knowledge of the product that can match the buyer's deeper consideration in the purchase decision.
When I got started in affiliate marketing, I was looking for a way to increase my income without putting in too much effort. I stumbled across high ticket affiliate marketing and was immediately intrigued. After doing some research, I discovered that high ticket affiliate marketing could potentially provide me with an additional stream of income. I decided to give it a try, and soon enough I was promoting products that were priced at hundreds of dollars. It was a bit intimidating at first, as I was worried about the amount of effort needed to sell such an expensive product. But after learning more about how it works and the process involved, I was able to get comfortable with the idea. The great thing about it is that I didn't have to do much work to get started. All I had to do was sign up with affiliate programs, find the right products to promote, and then promote them.
