People are the backbone of any organization. Thus, the HR function should be there to support people in every aspect of their work life. This can be achieved by providing a safe space to discuss any issues or concerns, offering support and training to help employees grow and develop, and ensuring that all staff are treated fairly and equitably. People are our most important resource. As such, I work to ensure that our employees are happy and productive in their work. I try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to my employees’ work schedules and duties. We also make sure to offer our staff training and development opportunities so that they can continue to grow both personally and professionally. My philosophy on human resources is that we need to bring out the uniqueness in everyone to make them feel valued and appreciated. We should make them feel like they are a part of something bigger by celebrating their successes and helping them achieve their goals at work and in life.
Here is my philosophy: HR is the glue that holds your team together. It's not just about "hiring" people, it’s creating an environment where employees feel satisfied and well-loved by their company - which means you should have someone in this role who enjoys watching other humans develop! HR should be the friendly face of your company, always willing to listen and help employees out in any way they can... If you find the ONE, you've got a winner on your hands.
Human Resources should be the advocates for employees and their overall well being. Interactions with HR should be positive and welcomed by employees which sadly they are not in corporate culture. HR should be looking for ways to improve employee morale, employee's skills, and synchronizing company-employee relations. That is what the philosophy of HR should be about. Every Human Resources department should follow that philosophy and it would make a tremendous difference in corporate culture. This is what HR was supposed to be doing when it originally was developed. Over time it has been reshaped to be focused on policy, compliance and reprimanding employees. When your employees fear and don't want to interact with your HR department you are doing something tremendously wrong.
I believe that Human Resources should be a strategic partner in the organization. They should provide value-added services that support the overall business strategy. They should also be a resource for employees and managers, providing training and support for employee development.

Your business, your Human Resources department and your employees all depend on one another to succeed. Yes, your HR team works for your business, but this should mean that they also work for your employees, because happy employees make a successful business. It's best for your long term goals if you understand your business, your employees and your Human Resources as being in a symbiotic relationship, and manage accordingly.

The HR organization passes as an organism with a life cycle where it gets founded, grows, and eventually gets dissolved. The study of the organizational life cycle gives rise to predictive models that act as indicators for the evolution and growth of the HR department. This philosophy stipulates that organizations like HR, at any stage of a life cycle, are impacted by both internal and external environmental circumstances. As such, the HR organization can get established and grow by expanding operations and incorporating new functions. Eventually, organizational action can cease to exist by getting dissolved or entirely going under.
My philosophy on Human Resources is that it's an integral part of the company, and it should be treated as such. I believe that the HR department should be viewed as a key component of the business, and we should be working together to make sure everyone is happy and productive. HR professionals should be constantly looking for ways to improve productivity and morale throughout the company, whether by offering training opportunities or by streamlining processes. We also need to make sure our employees are happy with their roles, so that they can do their jobs well without feeling overwhelmed or under-supported.
Human resources help us shape our work culture. They support us in recruiting candidates that share our vision and beliefs and allow us to develop a work ethic that we're proud of. My HR philosophy is that it must reflect company values in all aspects. At the most basic level, an HR department is charged with maintaining compliance with legislation that protects employees and ensuring consistent application of company policy. These 2 functions make up the basic foundation of fairness within an organization. With that sound structure in place, companies depend on their HR departments to drive continuous improvements in the employer value proposition. These improvements include enhancing employee benefits to be more competitive in the market, providing training and development opportunities, or building a best-in-class talent acquisition function. While all of these HR functions directly benefit employee experience, they also help the organization as a whole. It is well documented that an engaged workforce delivers the best results, and the best way for a company to ensure the engagement of its workforce is to support its HR team so that they can lead the way
In the past, human resources were primarily responsible for tactical functions like hiring and benefits administration. But in recent years, the role of human resources has shifted to become more strategic. Human resources are now partnering with other departments to help achieve business goals. For example, they may work with marketing on employee branding initiatives or with finance on budgeting for new hires. This shift is due in part to the changing nature of work. With the rise of technology, many tasks that were once done by human beings can now be automated. As a result, businesses are emphasising soft skills like creativity and collaboration—uniquely human skills. Human resources are uniquely positioned to identify and develop these skills in employees.
I started my business with just a vision and a determination to get it off the ground. I was fortunate to hire a team who had an entrepreneurial spirit. I believe all businesses should start with teams with this mindset, who are willing to go out on a limb and take calculated risks. This will allow your company to grow, as you have people who are willing to step up and take on roles, even if they have no prior experience. A key component of starting a business is having a solid human resources department. In the beginning, I had to do everything myself, from payroll to benefits and hiring. While it may seem like a lot to take on, it is important to remember that the human resources department is there to help you and your employees. Having employees who feel valued and appreciated, is what will make your company a success.
