I think people underestimate how much energy goes into this type of role - especially when you are dealing with unhappy/upset customers. It takes a lot of energy to remain calm and find a solution in the face of being bombarded with profanities and disrespectful behaviour. One thing I've learned from my role in Customer Service is to not take things personally and do the best/as much as you can! I'll be forever grateful for these valuable life lessons!
