Change is not only good for your professional growth but it is also good for your mental and physical well-being. Being a doctor, I have always recommended my clients and even my close family and friends to travel so that they can have a change of place to refresh their minds and body. As things change, you gain clarity on what truly matters and you can gain clarity about your life goals. The effects of a change can have far-reaching consequences. Everything, even your relationships, is vulnerable to this. So, it's better to accept change with open arms and a positive mindset to make the most out of it.
Change is good simply because stagnancy is bad. If there is no change, there will be no innovation, development and evolution. While the outcomes and implications of changes may not always be desirable, changes in life and in anything makes it more exciting. And that is why I love change; it is what drives me to continue innovating and exploring new things. Starting your own business can be a scary prospect. There are a lot of unknowns and you have to rely on yourself for everything. That’s why I think change is good. When I made the decision to start my own business, I felt overwhelmed. I knew I had a lot to learn about being an entrepreneur, and I wasn’t sure if I had what it took. But I also knew that if I didn’t try, I would always wonder “what if.” And I’m so glad I took the chance. I’ve learned so much about myself and I’m proud of the company I’ve built. Some sought to build on their strengths while others took on new challenges to overcome weaknesses. Overall, allowing team members to choose what they wanted to learn not only boosted our internal culture but helped us tackle business goals and better adapt to the ever changing market.
