First it shows respect to have clean un-ripped clothes. Everyone is unique and that's how we show others we are special. If a child is developing and can take their pants off to use the restroom that is an important milestone at a young age. Also Velcro can help a child get shoes on and off. one piece shirts are easier than buttoned shirts. However, bigger buttons are helpful for young people. If a child uses acrylic in the summer time it is possible that they may overheat, so weigh that against the fact that cotton wrinkles, and other children might mock your child. Long sleeves and pants are better for sun protection for a young child during the summer since they may lose their hat or sunglasses. ---- bio: Award winning multi-state licensed pharmacist published on PubMed. Up until a certain point, a child wears essentially what their parents will give them, but there comes a time when they must be allowed to express themselves in their own way. Although it may sound trivial to some, the way children (and later teenagers) present themselves is a huge part of their identity development. They need to be allowed to experiment, seek out their own style, and figure out what feels natural and comfortable.
