When I first joined, I was all over the place, trying different workouts based on what I saw others doing or what seemed popular. This lack of focus left me feeling discouraged. It wasn't until I took the time to really assess my fitness goals-strength training, in my case-and tailor my routine around that, that I started making meaningful progress. My advice to my past self would be to focus on finding what you enjoy and what aligns with your personal goals, rather than jumping from one trend to the next. Also, don't rush into things-start slow, build consistency, and let the results come over time. This approach would have made my gym experience a lot more fulfilling from the start.
