I also have a passion for culinary arts, and I worked as a sous chef at Crafted Hospitality, a renowned restaurant group, for two and a half years. Today, I help other contractors and small business owners optimize their businesses so they can reclaim their time, increase profits, and actually enjoy the freedom they’ve worked so hard for.

I am the owner of Pro-Seal Paving & Sealing, a family-owned and operated asphalt and concrete company proudly serving the Virginia area. Since 1998, our team has focused on delivering dependable, high-quality paving, concrete, and maintenance solutions through a hands-on, detail-driven approach. I lead a team with more than 100 years of combined industry experience, built from working side by side in the field and managing projects with care from start to finish. This experience has shaped how we approach every job, with a deep understanding of proper paving methods, long-term performance, and the aftercare required to protect each project over time. My philosophy is simple: do the job right, communicate clearly, and never cut corners. We plan each project carefully, adapt to site-specific challenges, and hold ourselves to high standards of workmanship and integrity. I also believe strongly in educating our customers so they understand how to extend the life of their paving investment and avoid unnecessary costs through proper maintenance. I graduated from Georgetown University in 1997 with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Spanish. After graduating Cum Laude, I worked as an institutional trader for Salomon Brothers and then later at Morgan Stanley. While there, I was recruited to manage a portfolio at SAC Capital. After spending 15 years managing risk for institutional investors, I slowly became involved in a renovation project of his own in 2011. After taking over the project from my contractor, I soon discovered a passion for the business and launched my own firm which drew upon my success as a risk manager and an efficient, process oriented operator on Wall Street. For the last 9 years, my firm has successfully created stunning spaces for many high end clients including celebrities, fashion designers and industry leaders.

I don’t remember life before construction and design. My grandfather was a master carpenter, and as a kid I spent countless hours with him in his woodshop, absorbing the art of custom craftsmanship and the value of hard work. When I wasn’t Granddad’s shadow, I was helping my parents restore historic brownstone homes. Those hands-on experiences shaped my passion for design, problem-solving and the art of building functional spaces. That foundation led me on a journey from small-town New England through New York City and Philadelphia to ultimately landing in Los Angeles. Along the way, I honed my construction skills, refined my design sensibilities and developed a deep understanding of how people interact with the built environment. I met a brilliant architect named Lauren Adams and we collaborated on multiple projects. In 2010, we noticed a gap that bothered both of us: there just weren’t many firms offering a true turnkey design-build service. Homeowners and business owners had to juggle architects, interior designers, contractors and engineers, leading to frustrating delays, budget overruns and disjointed projects. We knew there was a better and simpler way, and so Letter Four was born. Letter Four is a design-build partnership for visionary homeowners and business leaders in the greater Los Angeles area and beyond.
