July 5th through October is a great time to visit Seattle for the sunshine. The Pacific Northwest is famous for its temperate rainforest climate. However many people do not enjoy rainy weather. Seattle is well known for being a rainy city with consistent showers that can have an affect on the mood of some of its inhabitants. Though it is a little secret that Seattle has beautiful sunny weather from about July 5th until the end of October. Locals often say that the day after the 4th of July is when the sun comes out. Visit Seattle in this timeframe if you want to avoid the rain.

The best time to visit Seattle is September. September is the perfect middle ground between the rainy season and the expensive summer. The rainy season in Seattle starts in October and goes through March. September is great to get a taste of the summer heat, without the notoriously expensive travel costs of the summer months.
Summer is when the city gets more visitors. You will have great weather for sightseeing and walking around. However, if you wish to avoid the high prices and the big groups of people, you can go in the winter. There is a lot of rain, yes, but there will be many things to do too. You can go whale watching, go to the national forests, see the nightlife and eat in amazing restaurants.
As a chef based in the Pacific Northwest, I love day trips to Seattle for culinary adventures. There is no doubt Seattle is a food city, and like other cities in the PNW the abundance of produce and seafood is top notch. This beautiful produce is due to our overabundance of rain, which is great for veggies but not so fun for tourists. The best time to come to Seattle is late summer or early fall, August-September. Most produce is at its peak, and the rain usually takes a small break during this time. It gets really hot, but evenings are cool from the Pacific Ocean breeze. Its the perfect season for long evening walks, early morning trips to Pike Place Market and some of the best local, seasonal food this country has to offer.
Spring in Seattle is glorious, especially if you’re artsy! The city’s International Film Festival showcases over 400 films from around the globe! If you visit in May and stay until June you can see shorts, documentaries and features, most of which are premier events. In addition there are movies from well known producers/directors/other creatives and the town becomes a movie lovers delight! Thankfully, rates are also cheaper in early May than they are in the summer!
Many people believe that the best time to visit Seattle is during the summer, when the weather is warm and sunny. However, there are a number of reasons why fall may actually be the ideal time to plan a trip to this beautiful city. For one, the crowds tend to thin out as summer comes to an end, making it easier to get around and enjoy all that Seattle has to offer. Additionally, the fall foliage is simply breathtaking, with the leaves of the trees turning a vibrant shade of red and orange. And finally, there are a number of great events and festivals that take place in Seattle during the autumn months, including the annual Harvest Festival and Halloween Celebration. So whether you're looking to enjoy the outdoors or just want to experience all that Seattle has to offer, fall is definitely the best time to visit.
The best time to visit Seattle is during the summer. The weather is warm but the rainfall is minimal and the number of tourists is at its minimum. Going to Seattle during the summer gives you the opportunity to enjoy some of the events that are organized by the city. One of the most famous of these is the Waterfront Blues Festival which takes place at the end of July. All the locals get together to enjoy the music, incredible food, and drink.
The fall can be a good time to visit Seattle. Football season starts around this time, and the Sea Hawks are a good team. Even if you usually root for another team, they may be playing in Seattle with the Sea Hawks at some point.
Seattle is a great place to visit any time of year, but it's especially beautiful during autumn and winter. The seasonality lends an extra layer of beauty and charm to the city, making it a joy to experience all year round. There are many reasons why it is best to visit Seattle during autumn and winter. Firstly, the weather in Seattle can be truly spectacular at this time of year. The city often enjoys clear skies and mild temperatures that make for comfortable walking or biking around town. Additionally, the falling leaves provide an incredible visual spectacle that cannot be found elsewhere in the United States. And lastly, there are many events taking place throughout these months that you simply won't want to miss out on! From Oktoberfest celebrations to Chanukah receptions, there's always something happening in Seattle that you'll want to experience!
Visit in the late summer! Bumbershoot is the city’s best music/arts festival! Founded in 1971, the fun festival presents musicians, comedians and more. Vendors offer tasty treats after which you can do yoga or have what’s known as an electronic dance experience to burn off those calories! Seattle’s Bumbershoot( a word for umbrella) is the place to be in the summer with fun for everybody!
Summer is the best time to visit, but due to the high season, high prices and crowds make it less fun. Early fall is the best since the weather is still comfortable and the visitors are leaving. You will have the time to get personalized experiences to your taste at a lower cost due to the end of the high season.
Mid-May to early October is the ideal time to visit Seattle because of the high likelihood of pleasant to warm weather and minimal likelihood of precipitation. However, this does not rule out the possibility of a trip to the Pacific Northwest at a different time of year. There may be some visitors who are turned off by the city's image as a rainy destination, but armed with the correct knowledge, they may discover that they would much rather visit in March than July.
Seattle is definitely a heaven on earth, with high mountains, islands, deserts, rainforests, and whatnot. To witness the beauty of this mesmerizing place you can visit Seattle from early June to August. During this time the sky is sunny and the days are generally warm with little to no rainfall. But since this is the peak season be sure to make prior arrangements so that you can get rooms in any hotel that you want. Also, if you are looking forward to some outdoor activities you can book it in advance to avoid paying any extra charges due to the rise in demand. Special attractions during the season are the music festivals organized for the locals as well as tourists.
The best time to visit Seattle is in September and October, when baseball games are still going on, when lodging costs have gone down and just before the rainy season, which usually commences in November. Seattle is a great baseball town, a great seafood town and a great scenic town. The fall weather in the Pacific Northwest is perfectly suited for mountain biking and seeing the sites. It’s also an ideal time to go to T-Mobile Park for a game. Even if the Mariners are out of postseason contention (which has been the norm for about 20 years), it’s still a great place to watch baseball. There is a lot to love about Seattle.
The best time to visit Seattle is November through March. During this time, it is not as cold as you would expect. Also, there is less chance of rain. If you are planning to go during this time of year, be prepared for the change in temperature when you get off the plane or train in Seattle. If you are not ready for the change in temperature, it can be a little shocking.
While the best of the weather in Seattle is to be found in July and August, I would recommend delaying your visit until October. The weather will still be comfortable enough, although it may be best to bring a sweater and a raincoat, and by this time the crowds have departed meaning you have plenty of space to roam around and enjoy the sights. Room rates are significantly lower than in the summer months, and best of all, if you time it right, you can catch the incredible Earshot Jazz Festival. This year the festival runs from October 9th - November 6th. You can expect a wide range of live jazz acts but also make some time to enjoy the jazz films, artist panels, and any of the numerous educational programs.
The best time to visit Seattle is between June and mid-September. Summers in Seattle are easily the best kept secret in the city. Not only will you be able to spend the entire day outdoors, exploring some of Seattle's most popular tourist attractions (The Great Wheel, Pike's Place Market, Seattle Center, etc.), but there will also be more events than usual. Some of my favorites are: Capitol Hill Block Party The Bite of Seattle Outdoor movie nights in various Seattle parks Music Festival Bumbershoo
This is the best time to visit Seattle especially if you are a bargain hunter. At this time the summer crowds have departed and the weather is still mild. There is also plenty of unfilled, discounted hotel rooms left behind. At the same time, there are a lot of autumn festivals making it an exciting fall visit. Average temperatures range from 40 to 70 degrees, depending on the month. Precipitation will increase as winter nears, so pack some warm clothes and an umbrella.
The later summer months, July to September, often is the best time to visit Seattle. This is where the city experiences the best weather, and avoid most of the rain and gloom the city experiences throughout the year. The weather is pretty temperate, sitting around 75 to 80 degrees, allowing you to hike or visit the beaches comfortably. Though you will be there during the busy season, the warm, inviting weather more than makes up for it.
