I am a counselor and supervisor in several states. I also have my Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Board Certified TeleMental Health (BC-TMH) credentials. Other than a jumble of letters, these credentials tell you a few things about me. First, I have specialized expertise and ongoing training in supervision specifically. Being a play therapist means that I have special training in using play to work with children and supporting parents and caregivers in parenting. This includes Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, a special parent-child model that helps parents become healing agents for their children. It also means that I am trained in incorporating interventions such as drawing and music into therapy. Finally, I have specialized training in how to make sure counseling is just as effective and confidential online as it is in person. I have completed training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and am a Level II AEDP therapist. I also have training in Dr. Dan Siegel’s Interpersonal Neurobiology approach.

Dr. Neal Green is an Associate Professor and Director of Online Operations at National Louis University (NLU). He has held numerous roles since starting his higher education career in 2010 with Kendall College and now NLU. Starting as a face-to-face adjunct lecturer, he now teaches exclusively online. He has expertise in flipping content and teaching strategies to match all modalities. His student-centered approach to teaching creates a synergistic experience for online students that promote transformational learning. Dr. James Lyons, M.D., is an internationally trained physician that was born in Germany. He is the son of a teacher and army veteran and was raised in Texas, but traveled extensively during his medical training. From medical rotations in French Hospital Systems, to his training in Miami at Ryder Trauma medical center and psychiatric training at TGK Prison, his depth of knowledge for those in acute crises is vast. In addition to his doctorate in medicine, Dr. Lyons also holds a Masters of Medical Sciences and coordinated research trials for schizophrenia pharmaceutical treatments in Dallas, TX. He completed his residency in Rural Michigan as a Family Medicine Physician, where he made home visits, and was rigorously trained in all aspects of medical care from delivering and caring for newborns, to end of life care. In his final year of training, he was named chief resident of this program. After 3 additional years practicing in rural east texas as a hospitalist in the acute setting, he, his wife, and their 4 children now reside back in Texas where he was raised, where his parents are retired, and where his sister works as a registered nurse in hospital leadership. Dr. Lyons continues to practice medicine in the acute setting as a hospitalist and emergency room physician in the greater Austin area. Aside from direct patient care, Dr. Lyons provides medical expertise and consulting while also being actively involved in performance improvement, infection control, and medical executive committees in the hospitals where he practices.

I’m a Los Angeles–based therapist, practice owner, and doctoral candidate specializing in adolescents and young adults (ages 13–26). Dr Tan Chi Chiu has is Chairman of the Lien Centre for Social Innovation at Singapore Management University, where he was also the invited Convocation Speaker in 2012. He is Board Member of the UBS Optimus Foundation Singapore, Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Fund, National Healthcare Group Fund, Church Of Our Saviour, St Andrew’s Nursing Homes and World Harvest Initiative, a Christian international community development agency. He is a Fellow and member of the Senior Common Room of King Edward VII Hall, National University of Singapore. He retired from the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) in 2017 after 18 years as an elected member, but has been re-appointed Chairman of the SMC’s Medical Ethics Committee as a non-Council member for two further terms until 2023. He also led disaster relief expeditions to Sri Lanka (tsunami 2005), Pakistan Kashmir (earthquake 2005), Java (earthquake 2006), Haiti (earthquake 2010), Philippines (Typhoon Haiyan 2013) and also worked with the Red Cross in Nepal (earthquake 2015). His recent community development work included a social innovation development project in east Nepal and a medical development program in East Timor.

I graduated with a master's degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019, where I focused my studies on trauma and addiction. During my graduate education I completed internships at an inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility and a community mental health clinic in Delaware county. So far in my career I have worked as an outpatient therapist at a community health clinic in Sharon Hill, PA, and a group practice in Bryn Mawr, PA. While working at the group practice, I met with clients in the West Chester, Philadelphia, and Bryn Mawr offices. After obtaining my license in clinical social work (LCSW) in 2021, I opened my own private practice Calm Pathway, LLC in 2022 to better serve the community by offering both online and in-person therapy options for adults and teens navigating trauma, grief, and intense emotions. I have undergone extensive training and certification in EMDR therapy. I have also completed many trainings related to therapy for anxiety, depression, and DBT.
