I'm an innovative, curious, and passionate People Ops leader trying to connect employers and their people. Super powers include focused, engaging and effective communications, grace under pressure, and maintaining attention to detail while scoping big picture results. I focus on clarity, inclusion, accountability, respect, and trust - which means I operate with those values at the core of what I do and how I treat others. I lean into tough conversations with leaders at all levels, and help advocate for employees while prioritizing the interests of the organization.

I received my doctorate in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Rice University. I now lead Learning and Innovation at Deutser, an organization of consultants and creatives designing positive change for organizations through data-based, innovative, human approaches. My research focuses on belonging, inclusive leadership, team and individual performance, and well-being in organizations. I have co-authored 16 peer-reviewed publications, presented my research at major conferences including the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology and Academy of Management annual meetings, and earned a 3.9 cumulative GPA at Rice. I received the Lodieska Vaughn fellowship at Rice and the Doerr Institute's Innovation Award, as well as the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship honorable mention for my research in the areas of fostering workforce diversity, encouraging well-being and belonging, and strategies to facilitate inclusive leadership at work. I am a leadership coach, certified via the Doerr Institute’s CoachRICE program and have coached hundreds of leaders across industries including professional sports, energy, aviation, military, financial services, healthcare, tech, and academia, helping them live, work, and lead better. I have worked with NASA as a Selection Specialist for several years, supporting the Behavioral Performance group in astronaut selection and research related to developing high performance teams.I am skilled at advanced data visualization and analysis in R and proficient in Python, Excel, and SQL for data management, visualization, and analysis.

I feel the flow when fostering positive workplace cultures. Values (when truly lived by) hold an important role in company's success and I've been happy to lead few value implementation projecs that shook some ground;) I'm striving to create environments where team members feel empowered, valued and driven to succeed. I would also call myself burnout prevention advocate, that is why I'm committed to promoting employee well-being, helping individuals thrive both personally and professionally.

As an experienced HR Manager at ProProfs, I am passionate about building high-performing teams, fostering positive workplace culture, and aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. Throughout my career, I have honed expertise in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management, enabling me to drive both individual and organizational success. At ProProfs, I have successfully led initiatives such as: Streamlining hiring processes to attract top-tier talent. Developing training programs to boost employee skill sets and retention. Implementing HR technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Musician, writer, and former project manager. I've never been able to choose between music and writing - and eventually gave up deciding. I pursued a PhD in Comparative Literature at Harvard, where I wrote about music and literature, taught French and Russian language and literature, and continued my piano performance studies. Currently, I am a full-time piano teacher, songwriter, and musician performing across LA while also contributing creatively to screenwriter and showrunner Margaret Nagle's projects as a creative writing assistant. My most recent script, "Albertville," for which I have also composed the music, was a Quarterfinalist at Austin Film Festival and a Finalist in several other international festivals. I have a unique background in performing and teaching music, writing across diverse genres, and a strong organizational skillset that I sharpened as a Project Manager. I bring passion, a deep knowledge of music and writing, and an eye for detail to every creative as well as educational endeavor.

Currently a Project Manager at ECA Partners. ECA is a data-driven executive search firm that helps clients with their full-time hiring, interim management, and consulting needs. As a recently minted Ph.D. in Russian studies, I am passionate about literature, film, writing of all kinds, and international education and affairs. In my current role as a project manager for ECA, I am excited to explore management and work culture in a variety of industries through executive search and article writing.
